1. What is your normal turnaround time?
Turnaround times will depend on current workload. However, it is my goal to keep it below three weeks. If I receive more frames than I can get done within the three week timeline, I will stop taking orders and start a waiting list so that no customer has to be without their firearm for an unnecessary amount of time. If required, the waiting list will be posted on the home page and regularly updated.
2. I'd like to send my frame to you but I can't seem to find your address. Where is it?
In an effort to control the work load and keep the time you are without your frame down, I will send the address to prospective customers after they have made the decision to choose me for their frame work. If I have a current backlog that is pushing me to the three week turn around time goal, subsequent orders will go to the waiting list and those customers will be contacted directly once I have completed enough orders.
3. Will you copy any other company's modifications/style?
Negative. If you must have a specific company’s polymer work style, unfortunately you will have to send your frame to them. However, if you decide to go with GGC, I’m confident that you will be more than satisfied with the outcome.
4. Can you repair/modify frames that have been previously modified?
The short answer, it depends. These projects will have to be taken on a case by case basis because the damage may be too extensive or stippling, too deep to repair. Contact me and we can discuss possible solutions for your frame.
5. Do I need to use an FFL in order to ship my firearm to you?
No. According to the ATF, individuals may ship handguns directly to an FFL for the purposes of customization/repair. The same FFL may also return the handgun directly to its owner. Both FedEx and UPS “policies” state overnight air is required for shipping handguns however; the ATF mentions no specific requirement for the speed of the shipment. More detailed shipping information is located at the bottom of each package option page on the “shipping information” document. If you have a friendly neighborhood Gun Shop that you trust, you can likely save a good amount of shipping money by using the FFL to ship via USPS. RETURN SHIPPING LABELS MUST BE PROVIDED BY YOU (preferred) OR YOU MAY CHOOSE TO ADD THE SHIPPING FEE TO YOUR INVOICE. YOUR FRAME WILL BE RETURNED ONCE PAYMENT IS CLEARED. (Please remember to include a copy of your Driver’s License/ID/FFL etc. along with the signed waiver and order form in your firearm packaging)
6. Do you offer a Military/LEO discount?
Being a Marine how could I not? A 10% discount will be applied to any order placed by active duty or retired Military Members and LEO including Firefighters and EMS. (A copy of your ID/Credentials is required to qualify for this discount. Please include it in the firearm package along with the signed waiver and order form)
7. Can you just do one or two modifications instead of one of your package options?
In an effort to simplify the order process, the Level I option is the start point for all orders. If you would like a package with more mods than Level I but less than Level II, please contact us for a quote.
8. Do you work on frames other than Glock and M&P?
I’ve modified several other manufacturers’ frames such as Beretta, Springfield, Sig and Steyr. Contact us for direct quotes on other brand frames.
9. What's the best way to clean the dirt and skin out of my grip texture?
I’m sure there are several ways to do this but I simply use dish soap, warm water and a toothbrush (preferably one that no one uses on their teeth). Works like a charm.
10. What forms of payment do you accept?
Once work begins on your order, you will receive an invoice via email that will include any applicable taxes. From the invoice you will be able to use any credit or debit card to make your payment. Local customers may opt to pay in person using cash. (The mode of shipping used to return your pistol or frame will be up to you as the customer since you will have to provide a pre-paid return label either in the package with your frame or via email when the work is done)
